Due to the unexpected school closure on January 21st, Academy ISD will have a bad weather makeup day on Friday, May 9th. Thanks to the district's ability to use some of its banked hours, the makeup day will only be a half day to meet the number of required instructional minutes. Mark your calendars for Friday, May 9th: AECC/AES/AIS: 7:40 a.m. - 12:10 p.m. AMS/AHS: 7:45 - 12:15 p.m.

‼️Attention Academy ISD Families: There has been an ✨UPDATE✨ to Academy ISD's School Calendar for 2024-2025. ➡️🗓️𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟯𝗿𝗱, 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆/𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆. Academy ISD was approved by the Texas Education Agency for a Staff Development waiver. The Academy ISD Board of Trustees in a special board meeting, approved to modify the school calendar by changing February 3rd to a staff development day.
Friday, January 10, is a student holiday/staff professional development day.
